I then tried to get the exe to install first by pressing the normal "install software" button on the wine configuration window and once again it said "oops no new executables found." I then tried hitting the "test run" on the wine configuration window, however the program still would not install. I then dragged and dropped the java exe into the wrapper c drive and put the exe file in the "program files folder" of the c drive. On your advice and after having checked out the thread you pointed me to, I trashed the exe for the older version of java (version 1.6) and downloaded the 1.7 exe that was pointed out in that thread (jre-7u67-windows-i586.exe). I believe I don't have time to play this game, but out of a strange mentality I still installed it.
